Solutions01

What we can unlock for you.

Two complementary ways to give your business more time, more clarity and more customers. We always start with the most useful one.
01

Websites & optimisation

A website that explains, reassures and brings in enquiries.

Our work · bakery and pastry shop (Alsace)
Example of our work: the website of a bakery and pastry shop, on desktop and on a phone.
The problem
Your website is dated, slow, hard to read on mobile or generates hardly any enquiries — if you have one at all.
The solution
A clear, fast website built around what your customers are really looking for. Or targeted optimisation of your existing site: speed, readability, local search ranking, contact journey.
The benefit
A credible online presence that turns more visits into enquiries.
  • Business websites and landing pages

Draft reply, ready to review

“Hello, thank you for your request. To prepare an accurate quote, could you tell us the site address and your approximate budget?”

The problem
You juggle spreadsheets, email and software that don’t talk to each other; hours go on monitoring, data entry and formatting.
The solution
A web tool designed around your process — monitoring radar, tracking board, business form — and, where it helps, an AI component to sort, summarise or prepare a first draft, always reviewed by you.
The benefit
Time won back from repetitive tasks, and decisions made on up-to-date information.

Our work02

Websites built for their trade.

An architecture practice, a velodrome, estate agencies, a lakeside restaurant, a bike shop, a bakery, a tennis club: very different businesses, and websites built around what their visitors come to do.

The businesses are real; their names, logos and contact details are masked in the screenshots. Projects marked “proposal” are complete websites designed for them as a proposal — not commissions.

Architecture · 3D imagery · design · Fribourg (CH)

Architecture practice

Website proposal

An editorial website for an architecture practice in Fribourg: a draggable comparison between photograph and 3D render as an opener, then architecture, competition imagery, design, projects and the office.

  • Photo / 3D comparison on the home page
  • Gallery of award-winning competition images
  • Large full-screen photography
Full website of an architecture practice on desktop: home page with a photo / 3D comparison, architecture, imagery, recent images, design, projects and contact.

Custom work03

An example: a radar for recruitment firms.

Recruitment firms spend hours watching who is hiring, where and for which roles. We built a tool that does this monitoring for them and only surfaces what matters.

Working prototype · demonstration on request

How it works

  1. 01

    You define the scope

Sectors, regions, company sizes, roles you recruit for: the targets are yours, and they can be changed in two clicks.

  2. 02

    The radar watches

Job postings, careers pages and public signals from the companies you follow are collected at regular intervals, with nothing to type in by hand.

  3. 03

    You receive what matters

A readable summary: who is hiring, for which roles, since when — with what is new since last time at the top of the list.

  4. 04

    You decide

Each signal leads to a record and an action: contact, follow, set aside. The tool suggests, you choose.

SchematicSOURCES → RESULTS
Schematic: job postings, careers pages and news from the companies you follow go into the radar, which produces new targets, a daily summary and records to contact.

The same principle, for your trade

Ideas to work on, not completed projects.

  • Estate agency

Monitoring of properties put up for sale by private owners in your towns.

  • Tradesperson, engineering firm

Tracking of calls for tender and building permits in your area.

  • Consulting firm

Signals of change at your accounts: appointments, fundraising, hiring.

Approach04

A simple approach, short steps.

No heavy IT project, no endless specification: we move forward in small, verifiable steps and keep what works.
  1. Step 1: Understand the need

A conversation to understand your business, what holds you back and your constraints. We start from your day-to-day, not from a technology.

You getA clear summary of the situation

  2. Step 2: Find the most useful solution

We compare the options — sometimes an existing tool is enough — and pick the one that delivers the most for a reasonable effort.

You getA written proposal and a precise scope

  3. Step 3: Build a first version

A version you can use quickly, tested on your real cases, rather than a long specification.

You getA tool or website to try out

  4. Step 4: Test, improve and hand over

Adjustments based on real use, then documentation and training so you stay independent.

You getA documented solution you control

Plans05

A website delivered, then managed for you.

A complete website to get started, then a monthly plan so you no longer have to worry about your online presence or your tools: we take care of it, you focus on your business.

Use cases06

Situations you may recognise.

Typical examples, to illustrate what is possible. These are not client references or completed projects.
  • Example 01

    A tradesperson

Enquiries come in by phone, email, text and social media. Some get lost, and quotes fall behind.

    Possible approach
A guided enquiry form on the website, a single list of requests and pre-filled quote templates.
    What changes
Every enquiry is tracked and replies go out faster.
  • Example 02

    A firm

Proposals, minutes, reports: hours of formatting for documents that all look alike.

    Possible approach
An assistant fed with its own templates and notes, preparing a first draft to review and adjust.
    What changes
More time on substance, less on layout.
  • Example 03

    A small business

The same information is entered in the mailbox, a spreadsheet and the invoicing software.

    Possible approach
Simple automations between existing tools, with a human check at the sensitive steps.
    What changes
    Less re-typing, fewer copy errors.
  • Example 04

    An SME

A dated website that brings few enquiries, and customer data scattered and under-used.

    Possible approach
A focused redesign of the key pages, enquiry tracking and a simple dashboard.
    What changes
A better-understood offer and figures to base decisions on.

About07

One contact person, from the first conversation to go-live.

Jamais Vu is the consulting and delivery business of Emmanuel Ferry, based in Alsace on the edge of Basel and regularly on the road between French-speaking Switzerland, Geneva and the Jura. You speak directly to the person who designs and builds your solution.

  • Speak your language

Every technical choice is explained simply, with its advantages and limits.

  • Start small, move fast

Short steps, tested on your real cases before going further.

  • Choose the right tool

Sometimes the right answer is an existing tool set up properly, not new development.

  • Keep you independent

Documentation and training are part of the project, not an extra.

FAQ08

The questions we get asked.

  • Is this suitable for a small business?

Yes — that is actually the starting point. Projects are sized for organisations without an IT department: we start with what has the most day-to-day impact, using tools you can master.

  • Do you work on site?

Yes. Based in Alsace on the edge of Basel, I am regularly in French-speaking Switzerland, Geneva and the Jura. Progress meetings take place on site when it helps, and by video call the rest of the time.

  • Do I need to know how to use AI already?

No. We explain what AI does well — and what it does badly — using your own examples. If a simpler tool is a better fit, we will tell you.

  • Can you improve an existing website?

In most cases, yes. After a review — content, speed, mobile readability, contact journey — we suggest targeted improvements or, if more sensible, a redesign.

  • How are budget and timing estimated?

The price depends on the scope: after a first conversation, you receive a written proposal detailing the content, price and planned schedule, before any commitment. For a website, a first preview is sent within 12 hours of your request.

  • What happens to confidential data?

Together we identify sensitive information, choose suitable services — hosting, how AI providers use data — and keep access to the bare minimum. The terms are set out in writing for each project.

  • Who handles maintenance after delivery?

This is decided before delivery: you can stay independent thanks to the documentation and training, or plan ongoing support for updates and improvements. The terms are set out in the proposal.

Contact09

Let’s talk about your project.

An idea, a task that takes too much of your time, a website to rethink? Just describe it — no specification needed.

  1. 01You describe your situation, even in a few lines.
  2. 02For a website project, you receive a first preview within 12 hours.
  3. 03We talk it through in a first conversation, on site or by video call.
  4. 04You receive a written proposal — or honest advice if a project wouldn’t be useful.
